Transfer Projects When Deleting a User

This article will guide super admins on how to transfer ownership of projects. 

When a user is deleted, super admins can select the projects they own and transfer them to themselves or another user. The types of projects that can be transferred are Channels, Alerts, RSS feeds and Newsletters. 

 

Getting Started: How to Transfer Projects When Deleting a User? 

1️⃣ Navigate to Admin > Members.
2️⃣ Delete the user of your choice.
3️⃣ Click on save.
4️⃣ A prompt will appear showing all types of projects owned by this user.
5️⃣ Select the types of projects you want to transfer by ticking the boxes. 
6️⃣ In the New owner field, choose the user who will take over ownership.
7️⃣ Click Disable & transfer to confirm.

 

👉 Click on disable only if you do not want to transfer the projects.

💡 If no projects are transferred, re-enabling the user later will automatically restore all channels, alerts, RSS feeds, and newsletters that were previously attached to their account.
