How to create an alert?

I. Simple alerts

Would you like to stay updated on the latest developments in your topic of interest without missing any key information? Here’s how to customise your email notifications:

1️⃣ Navigate to the section where your channel is located.

2️⃣ Select the specific channel you want to manage by clicking on it.

3️⃣ Click on "Create alert" below your channel's title.

4️⃣ Give the alert a title.

5️⃣ Choose a preferred time schedule.

6️⃣ Select the number of news items to appear in your email alert (3, 5, 10, 20).

7️⃣ You can also choose to share this alert with another platform member, even if they aren't part of the channel.

8️⃣ Click on "Save."

🎉 Now, you'll receive an email at the frequency you selected, featuring the most relevant articles from the specified time frame. The articles are clickable and will redirect you to the specific content on the channel.

II. Advanced alerts

You can also create alerts based on a specific search or focus on a particular topic within your channel. 

With a filter:

1️⃣ Navigate to the section where your channel is located.

2️⃣ Apply a filter.

3️⃣ Click on "Create alert" below your channel’s title.

4️⃣ Configure the alert as desired.

With a search:

1️⃣ Enter a question with keywords or in natural language in the search bar.

You can do this from your home page to search across all channels, or inside a specific channel if you only want to search within that content. 

2️⃣ Click on "Create alert" below your channel’s title.

3️⃣ Configure the alert as desired.
