In this article, we will explain the various ways you can engage with an article or post in a channel.
How can you interact?
There are several ways you can engage with a post. You can:
- Like it (click on the thumbs-up icon) 👍
- Comment on it (see instructions below) 💬
- Repost it (see instructions below) 🔄
Here's how to get started:
1️⃣ Navigate to the section where your channel is located.
2️⃣ Select the specific channel you want to explore by clicking on it.
Comment on a post/article
1️⃣ Click on the comment icon on the article in question.
2️⃣ Write your comment in the comment section.
3️⃣ You can style your text by making it bold or italic.
4️⃣ You can add a link to your comment:
- Write the title or text you want to link.
- Double-click the title/text to select it.
- Click on the link button (represented by a chain icon).
- Enter the URL of the link in the provided field and save.
- When people click on the title/text, they will be redirected to the linked page.
5️⃣ You can tag someone by, only if they are a member of this channel:
- Adding an @
- Typing the person's first or last name
- Clicking on the person once their name appears
The person will be notified that they have been tagged in the comment.
6️⃣ Click on "Post" to share your comment.
💡 You can edit or delete your comment after posting by clicking on the corresponding icon next to it.
Repost an article
💡 Want to share an interesting article across another channel?
Follow these steps:
1️⃣ Click on the repost icon at the bottom right of the article.
2️⃣ Select one or more channels where you’d like to share it.
The article will appear in the selected channel(s) as a new post, with a note indicating that you are the one who reposted it.
