How to Change Someone's Role

Changing someone's role in a channel will automatically adjust their permissions. Only an admin and the channel's creator have access to the channel settings and can edit its queries, descriptions, etc.

There are two ways to update a member's role:

1. Directly Inside a Channel

1️⃣ Once inside the channel, click on the number of users at the top right.

2️⃣ Click on the member's role next to their name to open a dropdown menu, then select either Member or Admin.

2. Inside the Channel's Information

1️⃣ Inside the channel, click on its title.

2️⃣ Go to the “Members” tab.

3️⃣ Click on the member's role next to their name to open the dropdown menu and choose either Member or Admin.
