Use case: Monitoring a specific topic - Electric vehicles

Learn how to effectively monitor trends and advancements in electric vehicles to stay informed and ahead of the curve.

In this article, we’ll walk you through how to use the platform to monitor a strategic topic, using electric vehicles (EVs) as an example.

1. Create a channel to monitor the EV market 🛠️

Start by creating a channel focused on electric vehicles to track key developments in the sector.

Example prompt:
“Track global business intelligence on electric vehicles, including battery innovation, vehicle launches, government policies and subsidies, infrastructure development, and market trends.”

You can customize the channel based on your focus:

  • Cover the entire EV ecosystem,
  • Narrow it down to specific areas like charging infrastructure, battery tech, or OEM strategies.

👉 During channel creation, content curation happens in two steps:

  • Query-based filtering: We push only the articles that match the keywords in your query.
  • Agentic AI review: Our AI agent double-checks the content to ensure it aligns with your channel description. The description should be clear and specific, while the query can remain broader.

Note: The AI agent takes about 15 minutes to finalize the curation. Once done, your channel will be ready for analysis.

2. Share with your team 👥

Invite your colleagues to follow the EV channel. This makes it easy for the whole team to stay aligned on technology shifts, new regulations, or emerging competitors in the electric mobility space.

3. Explore and filter relevant content 🔍

Once the channel is active, browse the articles and apply filters to refine the results:

🌍 By geography: For example, use “Geography: Europe” to follow updates on EU regulations and OEM strategies in the region.

📌 By topic: Filter by “Product launch” to track new EV models hitting the market, or “Policy” to focus on government support and restrictions.

These filters help you tailor the stream of information to your organization’s strategic priorities.

4. Save views for easy access ⭐

After customizing your filters, click the ⭐ icon to save the view.

It will appear in your Favorites, allowing you to revisit a specific focus area, like “Battery Innovation – China” or “EV Policies – North America”, any time without resetting filters.

5. Post insights 📢

If you’ve just attended a conference, joined a meeting, or came across an interesting piece of information, like an upcoming EV launch or a new regulation, you can create a post in the channel to share it with your team.

This is a great way to capture insights that may not yet be covered in news articles but could have strategic value. Whether the information comes from a conversation, a panel discussion, or something you spotted online, posting helps turn informal knowledge into actionable team intelligence.

6. Stay updated with a weekly digest 🗞️

Every Monday, if at least five new articles have been published in your “Electric Vehicles” channel, a digest post will automatically summarize them.

You can also choose to receive the digest via email by enabling it in the channel settings or by clicking the channel title.

This makes it easy to stay current on EV innovation, regulatory changes, and market movements, without needing to check the platform every day.

7. Ask AI for deeper insights 🤖

Use the Ask AI feature to explore specific questions about the EV sector.

For example:

“What companies have launched solid-state battery projects in the last year?”

The AI will scan all the articles from your channels and deliver a precise, summarized answer, helping you find what matters, faster.
