This article will guide you through the process of creating a channel.
How to create a channel?
1️⃣ From your homepage, click on "My channels", then select “Create a channel” in the top left corner.

2️⃣ Write your prompt:
A prompt refers to a search query or a request for specific information. It is used to guide the platform’s search function, where a user submits a specific term or set of terms to find relevant information. The prompt helps to focus the search by specifying what you are looking for in terms of a topic, sector, region, insights or companies.
Prompt Example:
I want updates on any news related to aerospace investment projects, specifically focused on new fundings, M&As/partnerships and everything related to startups or new aerospace ventures.
💡 Quick note
To optimize the content in your channels, we use curation agents to ensure alignment with your channel description. The selection process follows multiple steps to minimize noise. Our curation agents first evaluate whether the content matches the overall intent of your description, and then assess whether the topics of the selected articles truly correspond to it.
Therefore, the curation process heavily relies on your description, which is why it’s essential to make it as relevant to your need as possible.
3️⃣ Click on "Refine prompt" or “Generate preview”.
You have two choices here:
If you're happy with your prompt as written, simply click on “Generate preview” to move on to the next step, where you can visualise your query and preview the results.
If you’d like the AI to refine your prompt, click on “Refine prompt.” The AI will rephrase it into a more polished and detailed version. You can edit this new version if needed. Once satisfied, click on “Generate preview".
Channel preview:
In your channel preview, you can see the exact query that will be used to define the articles you will see in your channel. You can edit it as you want by adding or deleting a topic, sector, insight, etc.
Below the query, you will see your preview. This is a glimpse of what type of articles you will have in your channel and how many articles are generated per week.
4️⃣ Select "Configure settings".
Here are your channel's settings. You can:
- Edit your channel's name
- Choose the access level
Public default (all members are automatically subscribed to this channel
Public optional (members will have the option to subscribe or not)
Private (can only see the channels and others IF you invite them)
- Choose the access level
- Tick the box to add the automatic generation of your weekly digest post
Once configured, click on “Create channel”.
💡 TIP - Control the sources used in your channel
You can whitelist or blacklist sources either during the channel creation (in the Settings step) or at any time after the channel is created.
Go to the channel Settings to define which sources should be included (whitelist) or excluded (blacklist).
👉🏼 These settings directly impact the articles selected in the channel and the analyses generated by Ask AI, helping you reduce noise and keep your insights focused.
🎉 You're all set!
